Would you like to learn to draw, but don't know where to start? Then join us for a 15-minute mini-drawing workshop with Carla Sonheim, the artist and author behind the book Drawing Lab, designed to put the "fun" back into drawing!
We'll make a series of non-threatening exercises including wrong-handed portraits, one-line drawings, and more. You'll finish the drawing session creating a one-liner elephant and Picasso Dog, and spend the rest of your evening adding even more personality to your creations by adding color. Carla will demo a multi-layered approach using materials you most likely already have at home... a pencil, a Sharpie, a few colored pencils and cheap markers... drawing is
fun! Come and see!
When to Arrive: Carla will be walking through the demo hourly at 4:15, 5:15, 6:15, and 7:15. If you would like to fully participate, please show up prior to one of those times.
What to Bring: This workshop is free and all materials will be provided.
Want a Book? Carla will have copies of her book for sale at Craft Night!

Craft Night occurs every Monday from 4-8pm ET at 55 Washington St, Suite 712 in Brooklyn, New York. Drop in anytime between 4-8pm to craft with us. Craft Night is a time to make things, learn new skills, and take a photo in our photo booth! Photos can be found after each event on Flickr and Facebook.
