Craft Night: Soda Tab Bracelets with RePlayGround

In this project you’ll turn old soda tabs into a fun, new bracelet. Please bring soda tabs and needle pliers to get going. (Ask your friends, take a collection at your office, etc. -- you'll need 22 tabs total) We’ll provide the stretchy elastic and the instruction for creation. We'll host demos at 4:15, 5:15, 6:15, and 7:15 p.m. Please show up before one of those demo times to experience the demo.

It’s a great way to turn your trash into fashion and to show off your upcycled style. And best of all, you’ll make it yourself. Once you make the bracelet, you can use the same weaving technique to create a belt or other jewelry. If you’d like to make more soda tabs accessories, it’s recommended to bring extra tabs and ribbon. The book, ReMake It, is filled with 95 awesome recycled, projects from the stuff you usually scrap. The bracelet is only the beginning. After you start ReMaking It, you’ll never look at trash the same way again.

She is the founder of RePlayGround (http://www.replayground.com/), where you can find more information about her book called ReMake It, a line of recycling kits, and do-it-yourself projects galore. She’s also the head of design at TerraCycle.
