The Toronto Exploration Society is not your typical meetup group. Since early 2005, we have specialize in exploring and photographing areas of the world that most people never see - abandoned hotels, old factories, subway lines, industrial buildings, amusement parks and much more. If you're looking for a truly adventurous group to join and explore some interesting places, you've found it!
Most of our large scale adventures happen outside of Toronto, often on day or weekend trips. Besides locations in Ontario, we frequently visit locations in the northern United States. On occasion, our members have even travelled as far away as Arizona, New Mexico, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland. We also do photography walks in various neighbourhoods and areas of Toronto.
Please note: our group includes photographers of all skills levels. TES is a great group to learn better photography techniques or perfect techniques you already have. :)
