After 12yrs shooting Olympus, I swiched to Canon. My equipment ncludes a Canon 7D DSLR,[masked], 15-85, 100mm and[masked] lenses. Back-up system is Olympus E-520 D-SLR, 12-60mm-2.8, [masked]mm, and 14-42mm. Gitzo Tripod, Really Right Stuff Ballhead, Manfrotto Tripod, Monopod & ballhead.
I am open to any where with water, hills, birds and wildlife. It would be great if places were handicap accessible since I use a walker and scooter to get around outside.
I see the whole picture.
I would say I am a very serious amateur for the past five years but have had a camera in my hand since I was a young girl. I have been a photographer for church, family and sporting events. Now retired due to a medical disability and love to be outdoors taking photos.
I discovered photography was a great hobby for me after medically retiring 8 yrs ago. I started taking photos indoors but soon discovered I preferred outdoor subjects. I enjoy meeting new people who share the same passion for photography as myself.
Great active group. Everyone is very nice and helpful to share their knowledge on how to take better photos.
