September Critique - "People Working"

The assignment for September is "People Working".

Our scheduled judge is Robert Fields (www.http://www.4fields.com/rfc/index.htm)

PLEASE REMEMBER: Parking has been provided in The Village underground parking structure—DO NOT PARK IN THE LOT LOCATED ON CORBIN, THAT IS FOR VISITORS AND EMERGENCY VEHICLES.Take Prairie Street east off Corbin. Turn in the 2nd driveway on the right and follow the road around the backside of the facility until you see the parking entrance. You can park in any non-reserved parking space (most of these are against the walls). Take the elevator to the 1st floor. We meet in the Northridge Room, which is next to their Arts and Craft Room. There will be F/Stop members floating around to help you find your way.

Hope to see you all there!

I thought the critiques by the judge were very well done, however, I also thought that the photographs were not up to the caliber that we usually see. Maybe it was the heat!

I did not care for the judge and in particular I do not care for the numbering system of grading photos. It's similar to being in school to our school system where learning is based on a subjective grade and based on what is wrong rather than positive ways to improve.

Bad judge, didn't really critique what was wrong with the pictures
