Presentation Title: SharePoint and Knockout for the REST of us
Presentation Description: This introductory session will show you how to interact with SharePoint list data using SharePoint web services in conjunction with the Knockout JavaScript library.
Speaker: Xenox Garavito
Bio: Xenox spent his early college years at University of Maryland. After many changes of major, he dropped out to join a band and spent the next 10 years of his life 'living the dream'. When his band broke up, he went back to school, attained a degree in Computer Science and started doing .NET web development. He moved to Seattle to work on a video game and eventually found his way back to .NET as a web developer for the University of Washington. At UW, he was tasked with learning how to develop in SharePoint. A couple of years later, he moved to the DC area to be closer to family and dove headfirst into SharePoint Development. He is currently a Senior SharePoint Developer with Planet Technologies Federal Division.
Xenox has an MCPD certification in SharePoint 2010 as well as MCTS SharePoint certifications in Application Development (2007/2010) and Configuration (2010).
