I'm Amylia from the Law of Attraction group, and I've also been to your little seminar at the MCW Small Stones. I'm coming to the meeting this Friday at Galleria West, and was wondering about renting out the room we meet in for 2 hours on Tuesday, May 6th at 6:30 (or 7) pm to 9:00 at the latest.
I have started The Jane Austen Book Club and am the organizer (on Meetup.com). I will have about ten members at our meeting. We are looking for a space for us to meet that is aesthetically pleasing, safe and conducive for discussions (and I'd like to bring veggies or other healthy snacks, if possible, as well as bringing beverages (non-alcoholic-I'm talking soda, water, iced tea, etc.)
Would you be open to lending me the space for our first meeting on the evening of May 6th? We plan to meet the first Tuesday eve of every month from about 6:30 (or 7) to 8:30. I
currently have it set to take place at my apartment in Wauwatosa, but would prefer an outside location and I really love our space for the Mastermind meetings.
I'd be willing to sign something saying I'll be held responsible for potential damages (but there won't be any), and I'd also be willing to pay a small fee, if necessary, but would prefer not to since I am already paying all the fees myself for the cost of advertising on Meetup.com. I'm not in it for money; I just want to have a nice book club discussion about Jane Austen's novels.
Let me know what you think. I'd be flexible on the date/time if you'd be able and willing to rent us the space on a different eve or different time (after work time, though).
Thanks so much for considering my request. (Ask and you shall receive, right?) :)
