Saint Louis Drawing & Painting Meetup offers an environment for artists of all levels to converge and find their way creatively. We hope to offer community, training, information and other resources that guide the artist to self-improvement and challenge in areas they can share passion and enlightenment. \
Artists
We have a wide range of artists, print-makers, painters, models, performers, poets and musicians gathering in this space. No matter whether you are a rough beginner or a seasoned professional, your love of the arts is welcome here. Lastly, this is a safe place so no voyeurs, or lurkers please.
Note: Because there is alcohol at many of our events and nude figure drawing, it is advisable that artists be 18 years old or older, or accompanied by a parent or guardian. This is for the protection of young artists and our art group.

Though we don't formally critique unless it is requested or a specific forum is set for such things, we do like to encourage and foster the self-development of an artist and their work. We like to make connections between artists and open avenues for promoting, selling and networking about arts.
We are friendly. Please show up, ask questions, enjoy a spirited conversation and make some art. Everyone will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have and share techniques, tips, etc.

Posed! at the St. Louis Artists' Guild, $20 Model Fee

Posed is a 3 hour single pose live drawing and painting event in the St. Louis Artists' Guild gallery where artists come together to work from a model draped en scene. The goal of this event is to provide a space for artists to hone their skills in a collaborative environment. This event takes place in the STLAG gallery, and the public is welcome to walk through our gallery space and catch the artists in action.
October’s pose will feature Melanie P. and take inspiration from Vampire Lucy Westenra from Ford Coppola’s 1992 Dracula film.
Artists who wish to participate in the event are encouraged to register prior to the event to secure a spot. Walk-ins are welcome based on availability. There is a $20 artist registration fee which goes towards model fees.
Artist Guidelines – BYO art supplies. Easels will be available on a first come first serve basis. No turpentine please. Plan to carry out used brushes.
