I am excited to tell you about our next meetup on Thursday the 13th of November at Masi Wine Bar (http://www.masiwinebar.ch/zuerich?LG=EN). The theme is trading liquid assets electronically without getting shocked. Nick Martin visits from London to showcase http://WineOwners.com . His story…“Like many wine lovers, I’d bought from multiple sources and had wine stored in various different places, which meant I completely failed to ever get on top of my collection. Trying to keep things up to date and self-valuing was horribly frustrating and hopelessly time-consuming. There had to be a better way.”

So he set about creating it. His idea was to build a world-class portfolio-management system together with an integrated exchange that collectors could easily trade in and out of. Nick also has solid backing and a reassuringly impressive advisory board, which includes Anthony Thomson, founder and former chairman of Metro Bank. In fact his startup was recently featured in the Financial Times How to Spend It (http://howtospendit.ft.com/drink/64351-new-online-wine-trading-platforms)
