LEARN TO SAIL, IMPROVE YOUR SKILLS, JOIN OUR SAILING CIRCLE!

Sailors of all experience levels are invited to come out to Fire Island and stay at the AMC Cabin at Atlantique, NY. Beginners: Learn to sail! Intermediate level: come get coaching to develop your skills. Advanced: come sail our fleet of boats. Small Boat (dinghy) sailing is a great way to build a foundation of sailing skills.

Have a "LEARN TO SAIL MINI VACATION" right here in NY! Weekend and midweek classes include 2 and 3 nights lodging and meals plus instruction and boats for $175 or $295, complete!

AMC Cabin is operated by Appalachian Mountain Club, a non-profit, volunteer conservation and recreation organization. That is why the sailing programs are so affordable!

The sailing program is led by a US Sailing Association Certified Small boat Instructor and uses US Sailing curriculum. The program has a fleet of 6 Sunfish and 3 sloops (daysailers)

Other activities include a Sailathon Weekend in July. Other sailing and social events are scheduled throughout the season. In the off-season, Sailing Adventure Vacations are run in diverse locations, including the Caribbean, Greece, Turkey, Croatia, Italy, Pacific NW, Belize. Members of all sailing experience levels are invited to join the crew.

  Hi is anyone going by car??
  I looked at the ferry schedule which said it ran until 8:45 and 9:45 but calling the ferry said last one is at 7:30pm and I don't get off work in manhattan until 5:45pm today. Help! I think I am going to be stranded!
