Firefly Imbolc Ritual (Open to All)

Join The Firefly House as we celebrate Imbolic, Brigid’s feast of flame! Imbolc, also known as Candlemas, observes the rapidly increasing light and the call to wake the Earth up from its wintery slumber. Brigid is smith, warrior, and poet. She challenges us to step into the flames and be reformed into something beautiful and new. Will you hear her call? Will you take up the sword of light and sing the sacred songs of art and magick?
We will begin with a fabulous potluck feast. Please mention what you plan to bring in the comments below. Arrive early so you have plenty of time to chow down before ritual. Ritual will begin promptly at 9 and no one will be able to enter once it has begun. If you arrive during ritual, please wait until its over and you’ll be welcomes to join us for poetry after.
After ritual we will present poems, song, and stories in honor of Brigid the poet. If you’d like to participate, bring a piece to share in front of everyone.
This event is open to the public and we encourage you to bring whomever you like! For questions, post in the comments or email [masked].

Great- I'll bring wine and something else from YES organic marketbut I'm not sure what it'll be. I know it will be something along the vein of Hummus. Ohhh, what about beef hotdogs slowcookedin a crockpot?
