Join us Online: http://experts.adobeconnect.com/coldbox-intro-ben/
Join us in Orlando. We will meet at Full Sail University and be located in Building 4, room 102 ( FS4A-102). This is the building located in the same parking lot as Fire House Subs.
Join the Central Florida Web Developers User Group for a presentation and discussion with Ben Laube on the ColdBox Framework.
Coldbox is an event-driven, convention based, ColdFusion framework which has many unique reusable plugins to expedite development productivity. We will be scratching the basics within the vast abilities of Coldbox while using Railo, a Open Source ColdFusion server.
There will be some live coding so bring your laptop, we will cover installation, setup, and introduction to both Railo and Coldbox while also building a simple application, so no prior installation or setup is necessary. We’ll be moving rather quickly through the entire process so make sure to come early with a cup of coffee if needed and be ready to learn!

About our Speaker: Ben Laube (provided by the speaker)
Ben Laube has been doing web design since 2003 as a hobby for after school clubs. His first website included tables and iframes and showed practically no thought on design (this is still when the font tag existed).
Since that time, Ben has ventured to Full Sail in Jan 2010 going through the Web Design & Development program. With less than four months left in the program, he’s still venturing out and trying to learn as much as possible before getting kicked into the real world.
