ARTIFICIAL SOULS and the Golem myth

Post #: 69
THANK YOU for interest in my novel. I will bring some copies to sell next time. It is still in drafts so I will only charge for the printing.
Here is a link to the Golem of Prague that Gary mentioned. The idea of bringing an object to life, whether a voodoo doll or Pinocchio or a Cyborg/Frankenstein is of course an ancient one. In my book they are called "pseudo children."
The Golem of Prague is particularly intereting because he was supposed to have saved the city during wartime. Being undead , he could not be killed, so was invincible. Being made of caly and the breath od spirit, he had no parts that were not amorphous and so could not be broken. Neat Idea about decativating him by removing one letter from the inscription on his forehead, changing the word, "truth" to "death."
