Club meeting with unicycle enthusiast Steve Young

Avid unicycle enthusiast Steve Young will be Folks on Spokes' first speaker of the year at its Thursday, January 24, 2013 meeting at 7:30 p.m. at the Flossmoor Village Hall. Steve, a native of Chicago Heights, got his first unicycle as a child in 1972 and has pedaled it ever since, riding practically every day, sometimes 50 miles in a day and sometimes 150 miles in a week. He's unicycled parts of Alaska and Colorado as well as midwestern venues. Steve will tell personal stories of his one-wheeled adventures as well as talk about unicycle lore, history, clubs and events.
