Paris Tech Talks meetup #9

Details

Get ready for the first Paris Tech Talks of the year.

Expect our usual formula: around 4 technology-related talks (speakers to be announced) and great networking while enjoying beers, soft drink and pizzas.

The meetup will take place at BlaBlaCar (http://blablacar.com/dreamjobs) HQ, 32 rue Blanche 75009 Paris (https://www.google.fr/maps/place/32+Rue+Blanche,+75009+Paris/@48.8788866,2.3316096,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m2!3m1!1s0x47e66e49a8a4ba55:0x95f959c0c70dfded), starting at 7:30 pm.

As usual, we'll start at 7:30 pm, so you may want to come at 7:15pm to grab your seat.
By 7:40 pm we'll start to let people on the waiting list get inside until we reach maximum capacity.

There is a long waiting list. If by any misfortune you’re sure not to come, please keep in mind to change your RSVP. This would leave your seat to someone on the waiting list.

People on the waiting list should show up at 7:30pm to see if there’s room to accommodate them. We’re quite confident we’ll be able to let in 10+ people on the waiting list.

You can submit a talk for this edition or the next one here (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?usp=drive_web&formkey=dHc3OU12RFZoYnRibUN4VXJNZWFIWGc6MA#gid=0)!

We can already unveil 3 speakers (in no peculiar order):

• Dimitri Fontaine (https://twitter.com/tapoueh) (Major Contributor of PostgreSQL (http://www.postgresql.org/)) on expert-level SQL

• Victor Coustenoble (https://twitter.com/vizanalytics) (Solutions Engineer at DataStax (http://www.datastax.com/))

• Kevin Lovato (https://twitter.com/alprema) (Senior Engineer at ABC arbitrage (http://www.abc-arbitrage.com/)) on Zebus (https://github.com/Abc-Arbitrage/Zebus), a lightweight Peer to Peer Service Bus

Thanks again to BlaBlaCar for having us!
