The Gang of Four "Design Patterns: Elements of Reusable Object-Oriented Software" book was published October 21, 1994. Programming languages have changed dramatically since then but understanding Design Patterns still helps if your goal is to write good quality, testable, and reusable software. Over the course of the presentation Michael will briefly explain all 23 of the GOF deign patterns and what the look like in C#. Although there will not be time to go in-depth into each Design Pattern Michael will explain how they work in C# and some of the functionality built into to the language to simplify using design patterns in modern software development.
