Has your circle of friends become smaller because of various lifestyle factors? Are you new to the neighborhood and looking to meet new people? Have you lived in Bay Ridge but find yourself looking to make new friends? If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, this group is perfect for you!
Doug started this group to create a way for people living in Bay Ridge to meet and develop new and true friendships. If you live outside of Bay Ridge you are also welcome! Though most of our activities have taken place in Bay Ridge they are not limited to the area. Our activities over the years have included dinners and brunches at many of the great local restaurants, happy hours exploring new and well established bars, bowling, pool, cemetery tours and picnics in our beautiful parks. We welcome any suggestions you have for future activities. While it costs Doug money to maintain this group, he does not pass those costs to the members. We also do not receive kickbacks from any venue that we meet in.
As a member of the Bay Ridge Friends we ask is that you pledge to :
1 . Be kind and respectful to other members of the group. We hope this never happens but the organizers will remove anyone deemed to be disruptive and/or disrespectful from the group.
2. Make an effort to be welcoming to new members. We don't want cliques as it defeats our purpose. If you see someone being shy, go up and say "Hello."
3. Respect the RSVP! If you cannot make an event you RSVP'd "yes" to please let us know. We understand you may have a busy schedule and your plans may change so make sure you change your RSVP, especially if it a time or space-sensitive event. We do keep track of "no shows". Guests are more than welcome to attend but please include them in your RSVP.
Also, remember, when you make friends with people in the group, put in the effort to maintain the friendship. That's what this group is about-FRIENDS!
Remember when applying for membership to please fill out our questionnaire. If you don't, you won't be accepted. We'd lke to know a little about you. You may be wondering why one of the questions asks about your age. The reason is we want to make sure this group is appropriate for you. All our members are 24 or older.
New members must be approved by the Organizer

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
