Welcome, Friends of Astoria/LIC & Beyond!
The focus of our group is to promote and support local community causes, local businesses and local arts/artists and culture events, we are open to the general NYC and LI population. The organizer, me, Chris Saccaro, does not receive any funds for promoting businesses or organizing community events.
Our main purpose is to build a strong community presence by participating in the green movement, being ACTIVE members in the local community by helping to develop a more cohesive and interconnected community....that can be represented in many different ways.....volunteering for local groups, attending events, offering ideas and suggestions......all while having FUN!

Rapure Lounge decor consists of many velvet couches, plush leather chairs, brick walls, lava lamps and pop art. Drinks include beer, wine, spirits, martinis, and specialty drinks served with botanas(appetizers). Serving hot and cold appetizers, wraps, crepes, sandwiches, and salads.
