FD-9: Nine Problems for Frontier Developers

Years ago, Professor Werner Hett put together a list of 99 problems in computer science while teaching classes at the University of Applied Sciences in Biel-Bienne, Switzerland. Originally, these problems were designed for the Prolog programming language, but over time they have been translated into Lisp, Haskell, Scala, and other languages.

These legendary problems test both a developer's skill, and the power of a programming language.

In this meetup, you will be challenged to solve 9 original problems that are similar in nature to Hert's 99 problems. You are welcome to use any programming language.

Brave volunteers will be given a chance to solve problems on the big screen for the whole audience to see, and at the end, we will discuss the most innovative solutions to the problems.

Bring your laptop, come hungry (free food!), and get ready to stretch your brain as we kick-off the first Frontier Developers' Meetup after the summer break!
