This month, we're excited to host two amazing speakers on two amazing topics. First, José Valim (github, twitter) will introduce Elixir, a functional programming language he's building on the Erlang VM. He'll familiarize us with the syntax, ecosystem and design goals within the Erlang Virtual Machine. José Valim is a Rails Core Team Member and author of Crafting Rails Applications.
Later, John Foley of Pivotal Labs will carry the discussion on parities between Ruby and pair programming. He believes Ruby and pair programming are philosophically aligned in many ways and he'd like to show you why.
Delicious food and craft beers, as usual.

Enter the building along Fillmore St and take the elevator to the 4th floor.
