Hump Day Hike - Rancho El Nido Preserve- 5 Miles

DIRECTIONS: Take the 33 north from the 101 towards Ojai. At the intersection with Hwy 150 (Baldwin Rd), about 11 miles from the 101, turn left, then turn right after three blocks onto Rice Road. Watch carefully for Hwy 150 - it's not well marked. Once on Rice Road, drive north about 1.5 miles to the Riverview trailhead on the left, across the street from a large horse corral.

Join us for a shorter hike with a leisurely pace on this "Hump Day Hike". We'll gather in Ojai for an easier hike at the Rancho El Nido Preserve. This beautiful area has very diverse terrain, but we'll stick to the oak forest and El Nido Meadow in Will's Canyon after crossing the rocky and hopefully passable Ventura River. If we cant cross the river, there are plenty of trails to explore in the meadow. Total distance will be about 5.25 miles and we'll climb about 600'.
