Happy Hour and Hike in Ventura

Let’s meet for a Friday happy hour and hike in Ventura! We will meet at Watermark on Main at 5:45-6:00. Happy hour goes until 7 PM. After that, we will walk up to the cross, through the Ventura hills, down to the pier, and along the ocean promenade past the fairgrounds back to Main St. It’s about 5 miles, and there is a steep uphill in the beginning up to the cross. We should be done around 9 PM.
The walk is entirely on pavement, so sneakers will be fine. I suggest that you look a little dressier than hiking clothes since we are starting with happy hour at the Watermark. It’s fine if you show up later than 6, but you will have less time to eat and drink! The food is delicious!

Ventura is cool in the evenings, so please be sure to bring a sweatshirt, and a bottle of water would be good too!
