Big Group Singles Stroll around Astoria

We'll spend 30 minutes getting to know each other while we wait for everyone to arrive. Afterwards we'll walk around Astoria following this route: https://goo.gl/maps/YyeZn

If you've never been to Astoria, this is the perfect opportunity to really see it as we'll be walking down some major streets including Steinway and Ditmars + we'll be walking along Shore Blvd (http://goo.gl/maps/TYRyv) next to Astoria Park which has amazing views of Hell Gate Bridge, Robert F. Kennedy Bridge, Randall's Island, the East River and New York City. Like really, really amazing! If you live in Astoria and/or you've been to all these places as I have umpteen times you'll come to see them all again. For those who haven't, you're in for a treat.

Meeting time: 1:00 PM

Walk start time: 1:30 PM

The age range for this walk is wide open. I did this walk last year (https://www.meetup.com/5BoroEXPLORATION/photos/all_photos/?photoAlbumId=21162132) and we had around 200 people in attendance. The more people there are, the more people there are to meet.

The pace of this walk will be easy-going. The total distance is 4.8 miles and it should take approximately 3 hours to complete. If you do not wish to walk all 4.8 miles, please feel free to break away at any time.

If this is your first time attending a meetup, don't worry. Around 80% of attendees are first timers so you won't be alone + I won't leave you alone. You will have a great time, I promise! =)
