Welcome to Future Artists Live, this is a group, forum and open space dedicated to creating a diverse and progressive relationship between artists and audience, between creative thinkers and business... its a live an active space for all you future artists to use as a tool to communicate and 'meet up' in.

Why?

Future Artists was founded by Mark Ashmore and Jenny Inchbald as there was a need for a new way of thinking when it came to digital and how this can be applied in the creative sector in both traditional arts and new media. in a year the thinking and ethos has gone global, and now with this group, we hope that our active community will embrace this opportunity to create a new arts and creative sector which is self sufficient.

This Co-op has two simple aims.

1) As an informal knowledge, trade and creative network and supportive global community that supports each others business and careers, this group will allow knowledge sharing and trading easier.

2) as an exhibition, distribution and educational organization we intend to work with our community in this space to create creative educational and exhibition events in the UK and across the world.

What is a ‘Future Artist’

A Future Artists is an individual that uses creative thinking and applies it to business, the arts, culture and community.

A Future Artists is a creative individual, not defined by job role, they define themselves by experience and their work.

A Future Artist does not believe in monoculture, one idea, one form of governance, one community, one set of rules, one way to a status quo.

A Future Artists believes in diversity, the foundations of diversity are at first found in nature, where evolution of new ideas, through progress, see’s nature constantly overcoming obstacles, adapting and thriving via diversity, when diversity, experimentation and expanded networks are applied to the creative progress the impossible becomes possible.

Thus our mantra without deviation from the norm, progress is not possible.

A Future Artists is part of an open forum and open space community, where ideas are exchanged, skills traded, and knowledge taught, we do not believe in borders, the digital revolution has created a world without physical borders, making exchanges of diverse ideas, and creating a rich knowledge economy now extremely easy to plug into, only boarders in our mind now exist.

A Future Artist thrives and grows via a series of mesh works, by working with other well networked individuals, and working in a reciprocity nature, a Future Artist will expand their own personal network, this in turn expands the community network, creating a mesh work which is able to problem solve and work as one, when called upon.

A Future Artists does not have to define themselves as one, there are no labels, this is not a trendy media tag, they are not part of a club or cult, they are individual and diverse, they are free to think, challenge, debate and create direct action to challenge a status quo as one or as part of a sub group, or as part of a whole.

A Future Artist must put listening and co-operation first, dictation and self are not traits of a Future Artist.

Above all to be a true Future Artist is to be free to use your creativity to enhance your life, the businesses and lives of others, and have maximum FUN in doing so….
