Data Flow using Apache NiFi

Details
Meetup at Hadoop Summit Dublin!
http://hadoopsummit.com/dublin
Apache NiFi is an extensible data processing and integration framework. NiFi can construct highly structured data flows with connectors into many traditional and Hadoop-related technologies.
Come learn and discuss the Apache NiFi project and how it works!
Agenda:
- Introduction to Apache NiFi (30 mins) - Bryan Bende
–Visual Command and Control
–Data Lineage (Provenance)
–Data Prioritization
–Data Buffering/Back-Pressure
–Control Latency vs. Throughput
–Secure Control Plane / Data Plane
–Scale Out Clustering
–Extensibility
-
Build your first data flow with Apache NiFi (15 mins) - Bryan Bende
-
Data Aggregator demonstration powered by Apache NiFi (30 mins) - Simon Ball
Speakers:
Bryan Bende
Bryan Bende is an Apache NiFi PMC Member & committer, and a Member of the Technical Staff at Hortonworks where he develops dataflow capabilities around the core framework of Apache NiFi. He has over ten years of experience developing enterprise software solutions. Bryan received a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Maryland at College Park, and a M.S. in Computer Science from John Hopkins University.
