This will be the first of many community based educational classes that we will be doing from now on. The service we will be doing using is an awesome startup called SkillShare (http://www.skillshare.com). They share the same vision as we do in that community should be helping the community!

Who is this class for?

Anyone interested in learning how to program games, in particular web, mobile and desktop games.

What will I learn from this class?

You will learn how to do object oriented programming using Action Script 3.0 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ActionScript), the language that powers the Flash platform (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adobe_Flash). Learning these different techinques will let you have a better understanding of how to create much more complex applications and games.

Is it free?

Since people are taking time out of their busy schedules to give back to the community it only makes sense that they are able to get paid for their time. So the classes will not be free, but will be very cheap, this particular class will only be 5 dollars.
