Sacramento Developer Collective

SDC is teaming up with Galaxy Games Café for a 5-day tabletop and board game jam, running from November 5th to 9th!

Whether you’re a game dev, designer, artist, or just curious — everyone is welcome to participate. The entry fee is TBD at the moment, but will simply cover the standard registration cost and will go directly toward funding prizes for standout games. A panel of judges will be on hand to review creations and recognize the most inventive, polished, or fun designs.

PGJ (Progressive Game Jam) is back for its thirteenth season — and we’re more excited than ever to help local developers build awesome games and connect with a thriving community of creators.
Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned dev, PGJ gives you the tools, time, and team to actually finish a game. Each month, we’ll gather for structured, supportive in-person jam sessions where you’ll:

• Set development goals and track your progress
• Get feedback from other local developers
• Learn from guest speakers and industry pros
• Showcase your game for free at the Capital Creative Showcase, Sacramento's biggest indie game showcase!

Join the Sacramento Developer Collective for a creative figure drawing workshop featuring a live, costumed model!

Whether you're a concept artist, character designer, illustrator, or just enjoy drawing, this workshop is a chance to practice your skills in a fun, relaxed environment alongside fellow artists.
Our costumed model will give participants the opportunity to explore anatomy, gesture drawing, clothing, and character design!

All skill levels are welcome! Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist, come sharpen your skills, experiment with different techniques, and connect with Sacramento's creative community.
