How cancer research increasing fundraising through gamification, latest game design thinking from game industry experts, gamified recruitment, how to mature your leaderboard and a roundup of the latest in gamification over the past two months. What's not to like! See you here!

This month we'll be heading over to the IBM Client Center (http://www-05.ibm.com/uk/clientcentre/) where Eamonn from IBM will be hosting us and providing the refreshments! IBM have an interest in Gamification which you can read about in this article (https://www-304.ibm.com/connections/blogs/socialbusiness/entry/gamification_unlocking_hidden_collaboration_potential2?lang=en_gb). Also check out Bunchball's integration with IBM Connections (http://www.bunchball.com/products/nitro-ibm-connections).

We'll be focusing on how Gamification can drive business objectives - in particular uplifting Key Performance Indicators (KPI) through game mechanics.

I'm delighted we've got Ed Cervantes-Watson from Cancer Research coming with a show and tell about the very impressive Dryathalon campaign where they leveraged gamification mechanics to increase donations. He'll be looking for gamifier suggestions on how to improve for next year.

We'll also have short talks from other Gamification Gurus such as Andrzej Marczewski looking at Gamification over the past 2 months, I'll be explaining another 'dimension of a leaderboard' - this time on Leaderboard Maturity. An Coppens from Gamification Nation will be sharing a little theory and practice around gamification of recruitment

It'll all be finished up with a moderated discussion with Peter Laughton on the latest trends in game design. Oculus Rift anyone?
