"legal interpretations"
A study in itself ;)

I reduced the problem to a one-liner that works at all times as 'the spirit of the law(s)' is ever present, everywhere, since there are laws:

If you don't know what you're doing, - do what's right!

Anything else is in direct contradiction to good engineering and common sense as it implies making a simple task complicated.

. . . all the best,

re blue card,

If you are providing private teaching, coaching or tutoring on a
voluntary basis, this is considered to be a private arrangement and
therefore outside of the scope of the blue card system.
Misreferenced, IMHO. What's being offered is not private tutoring. "Bond University presents...." it's an official activity by an org, not something someone does privately in their home.
Thus it becomes the same as me helping out at a school, and for that the rule applies as I wrote previously. Steve himself will also definitely need a blue card, being the teacher on the day.

I will be running Lego workshop again 4th July through leaps and

touch. I do need to check on whether helpers need blue cards or not
first though.
