[Job] EnerNOC R&D is looking for a generalist

Hi Boston Google Developers -

EnerNOC is looking for a multidisciplinary software engineer (junior to senior level) to join our R&D team.   Due to the nature of R&D, the applications we tackle are all over the map - sometimes it's interfacing with low-level hardware on an ARM/Linux device, and others it's building a scalable enterprise app running on AWS.  That's what (if you ask me) makes this role so fun!  It's solving new problems on a constant basis.

In R&D we tend to reach for the best tool for a job, so we don't necessarily stick with a single language or platform.  But we do use a lot of Python, Ruby, and sometimes Java/Groovy depending on the task.  We're also working on open source libraries for emerging international energy standards.  You can find more about our early open source efforts here:

We're looking for:
* Someone who can do a little of everything
* If you haven't done it before, you can figure it out - whether that's searching documentation, digging into source code or reverse engineering!

Finally, a little about EnerNOC:  Founded in 2003, publicly traded since 2007.  On track for $500M in revenue by 2015.  We're growing to about 700 employees globally, with about 350 working from our Boston HQ.  Our office is Downtown, just a couple blocks from South Station.

If you're still reading this, you can apply online, or get in touch with me directly if you have any questions!
