We are looking forward to having you at the Google office for our GDG Berlin May meetup.

Then +Raphael Bauer (https://plus.google.com/118082806863266758700/posts) will present a new lightweight Java framework which works nicely on AppEngine.

Animate your HTML5

They have shown that fluid and well chosen animations create immersive effects and favour intuitive interactions. The trend is now coming to the web. Modern browsers have several dedicated animation technologies built in, running at 60 fps. This talk is a guided tour of the 4 animations technologies for the modern web has top offer (WebGL, CSS3, Canvas, SVG). It should help you decide which one is right for your project.

About the speaker: +Martin Görner (http://gplus.to/martin.gorner) has worked on Mobipocket's ebook technologies which later became the software stack of the Kindle and which he helped develop for a couple more years as CEO of the Amazon-owned Mobipocket subsidiary. He is passionate about science, tehnology, computers, algorithms and everything in between including robots and HTML5. He joined Google Developer Relations in 2011.

Ninja Web Framework vs. App Engine - Win:Win

Ninja is restful, stateless and built on well established industry standards like Maven, Servlets and Guice. This talk will introduce the framework. The talk will also feature a demo that shows how easy it is to write a blog system running on GAE that can scale without limits.
