Back To School!

As we head into the fall, summer vacations are over and the kids are back in school. For many of us, this also means that we’re back to the grind from vacations and trips with a renewed focus on our work. Similarly, we at GeekMeet have a renewed focus with many exciting partnerships, programs, and events to come! So stay tuned!

We had a fantastic turnout at last month at Trinity Hall. For September, we’ll be meeting in Addison at the Back 9 Bar & Grill (http://back9addison.com), a laid back sports bar with a ridiculous number of flat screens. The place is loaded with various bar games like Big Buck Hunter, Pool, Golden Tee, Oversized Jenga and even Bimini (ring on a string, wall-hooky, whatever you call it).

Centrally located in Addison on Beltline Road just west of Midway Road (between Sam’s Club and McFadden’s), the Back 9 Bar & Grill is slightly tucked back from the street, but features a large lot with plenty of self-parking options.

The Back 9 happy hour offers half-price appetizers, $3 cocktails featuring flavored Three Olives Vodka, as well as various discounts on other drinks.

$10 gets you into the event (free for members with professional subscriptions), access to primo networking, and extended happy hour pricing until 9:00 just for GeekMeeters!
