Taste of Bethesda!

Since the government shutdown has closed the National Parks and hiking is no longer an option, let's go eat food instead!

Do you like food? Me too! Come try out the various restaurants in Bethesda during the Taste of Bethesda. Several blocks are closed off and the local restaurants set up booths where they serve lots of delicious items from their menus. You can purchase the menu items with tickets (you get 4 tickets for $5). Crab cakes, steak sandwiches, paella, Indian food; you name it, they got it. There is also live music to accompany your munching.

Let's meetup in front of the Rockbottom Brewery at 12:30 p.m and then we can split off to try the foods and meet back up at the brewery at 1:45 p.m for some drinks.

METRO: The closest Metro stop is Bethesda on the Red Line. It's an 8 minute walk from the Metro exit to Rockbottom Brewery. NOTE: Most of the downtown stations on the Red Line are closed this weekend. If you're going through DC, factor in a lot of extra time for the shuttles.

PARKING: There is some street parking available and a couple of garages. The parking is limited, but you might get lucky.
