geekpub originated in the summer of 2009 with the simple craving of wanting to chat about gadgets, technology, video games, and other stuff that really matters in life, over beers, thus combining two of my many passions.
geekpub is:
- a social mixer for geeks and friends of geek
- open to anyone interested in technology and gadgets
- casual and informal
- FREE ... and always will be
- open to people who aren't geeks but find them amazing (we don't blame you, we are :)
geekpub is NOT:
- hardcore networking
- a gathering of hot-air blowing suits (if you happen to wear a suit but are a geek at heart, this is not you)
- a gathering of arrogant tech elitists
- a sales forum
