2013 Seoul Lantern Festival at Cheonggyecheon on Nov. 13

Let's walk along Cheonggyecheon stream to see beautiful lanterns at the 2013 Seoul Lantern Festival and hangout together on Nov. 13, 2013(Wednesday) .

The 2013 Seoul Lantern Festival will take place Nov. 1st to 17th across a 1.5km stretch area from the Cheonggye Plaza to the Sewungyo Bridge.

A number of hands-on experiences such as ‘Making a Wish Lantern and Ribbon’ and ‘Floating a Lantern’ will coincide with the festival dates. Traditional performances by intangible cultural asset groups and street performances will highlight the celebration. In addition, the festivities will kickoff with a special Lighting Ceremony on the opening day.

We will meet at the exit 5 outside og City halll station on line 1 and walk along Cheonggyecheon stream and have a chat drinking beer or Makgeolri at Kwangjang Market.

We will start walking from 7:30 pm and finish around 10:00 pm.

Please don't be late for the meeting time if you want to join this walking meetup.

Course: City Hall stn(line 1) -Cheonggyecheon Plaza→Gwangtongggyo (Restoration of the Original Bridge)→Samilgyo→Supogyo→Bridge of Dawn→Ogansugyo
