Right then Gluggers,

Our winter hybernation is almost over but we've not just been resting on our laurels. This year looks set to go even bigger and hopefully better so over the last few weeks we've been putting together a schedule (I know very organised) and confirming various guests for the whole year. Gone are the days when we just bodged it together the week after the last party.... ;-)

APPEARING IN 2010
................................................

So without further ado, these are some of the agencies and places we'll be appearing in 2010, including a special event at Somerset House in association with Pick Me Up. We'll also be announcing on Monday details of our next event at the Book Club on Wednesday 24th March.

NEW WEBSITE
................................................

Also in March, we?ll be launching our new site which Nick, Studio Output and Tech department have been working on:

LIVE from Monday
http://www.glugevents.com/

PLUS AN EVER CHANGING FORMAT
................................................

Our first event of 2010 will be held at the very cool Book Club in Shoreditch but after that we?ve got a couple of other venues in mind for different events and depending upon the guest agency or creative collective we?ll move around to suit their needs. As always we?ll be working with a couple of old and new sponsors to bring you lots more freebies and giveaways

Watch out for further information on the Somerset House event. The venue is pretty big and we should be able to get at least 800 people in there, but having seen the lineup for this, I?d imagine tickets will go really quick.

...and finally, we?re going to be launching a new series of quarterly ?Input? Events from May onwards, focused around a certain themes or industry sector. The format for these is likely to be more serious talks and insight based, held at either the ICA, Barbican or more traditional venue.

That?s all for now. We?re very pleased to see that the meetup group continues to grow at a pace, with over 1400 London members and a rapidly growing Brighton base.

We hope you?ve all had a busy and fun start to the year, and thanks for bearing with us. As you know we run these events outside of work commitments so it?s been nice to have a bit of a break ;-)

March event details will be up on the http://www.meetup.com/gluglondon/ from Monday, please get in quick to buy tickets before they sell out!

Thanks
Ian (& Nick)
