Welcome to the Midwest Pagan Fellowship (M.P.F.)!

M.P.F. MISSION STATEMENT:

"The Midwest Pagan Fellowship (M.P.F.) encourages harmony and support within the pagan community through ongoing education, social networking and public celebrations.

We co-create community and encourage Circles, Coveens, Groves and Solitaries of All Traditions to participate."

For the purposes of this organization a Pagan is defined as someone who:

1)  Honors, reveres or worships a deity or deities found in pre-Christian classical, aboriginal or tribal mythology and/or

2)  Utilizes shamanistic or magickal practices and/or

3) Creates new traditions on past/future views of society, community or ecology and/or

4) Focuses practices based on the Divine Feminine.

This is a group that Rev. Tommy Rogers (Straboh) started in October 2010 to help those of us walking a Pagan spiritual path to connect and form lasting friendships and fellowships here in our area.

M.P.F. is for anyone walking a Pagan spiritual path following any tradition of the Craft. I would also like to point out that Paranormal discussion and groups are also welcome as long as the group religious orientation stays toward the Pagan paths.

Understand that Paganism, Wicca, Witchcraft, Heathenism and/or Ritual Magic is indeed the primary theme for this group.  If you cannot abide by other religions and are not tolerant of others belief systems then this group is not for you.

We hope that the connections that are made here start lasting friendships and link those of a like mind and spiritual need or desire. Whether your path is Gardnerian, Elder Wicca, Alexandrian, Essential Shamanism or any other Shamanic path or tradition, Celtic Wicca, Covenant of the Goddess, Dianic, Cirle Wicca, Gregorian, you name it and this group is for you.

Feel free to start your own meetups, hold Circles and Open Rituals and your own Study Groups or anything else that strikes your fancy and advertise them here with location and time. That is what this group is for.  Advertise for your Coven or your Grove when you are seeking candidates for membership or just holding an open event, etc.

Advertise if you are Clergy and Ordained and looking to perform Handfastings or any other rites or rituals.   This is a group for many other groups I guess you could say.   Most importantly, M.P.F. intends to be a resource for the pagan community as a whole.

This site has been updated as of July 22, 2014.

Notes from your Co-organizer council:

In addition, the M.P.F. site has downloadable files on a variety of related materials, from Ethics to Eros. Simple look at the banner and click on 'More' / 'Files'. You can also offer posts in the 'Discussions' area, comment on how a Meetup went and even communicate directly with other members.

Note: The people that put up these Meetups - be they Circle gatherings, Coven meetings, workshops, Pagan-night-outs or whatever, are folk taking the time, trouble and in many cases money to arrange.

PLEASE! Nobody is impressed if you sign up and then bow out or blow off an event without at least the kindness of letting your hosts know beforehand. Some event have size restrictions, and if you sign up then don't show up that could have been a space for someone else to attend. Keep doing that and the regulars won't even bother with you after a while.

The only real 'rules' placed here are common sense: Play Nice.  Be Sincere. Keep your Word. Watch your language. No attacking others. If you don't like it, you can't have any.

Lastly, feel free to write with any questions or concerns you may have, and we will see that your inquires are answered promptly.

Blessings to all.

Anna, B'Aylana, Bobcat, B. B. & Colleen

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
