What we’re about

This space is dormant just now. It is waiting for better organizers to design meetings about social change.
All past societies until the scientific/industrial revolutions had to rely on some form of enforced labour to produce the surplus necessary for creating culture and builds 'civilisation'.

In the past three hundred years we have create labour-saving devices for homes and factories that can do the necessary work humans had to do.* Yet societies today are still employment societies with two basic classes: employers and employees. Many alternative societal models have been producers by economists and other social scientists essentially based on general ownership of income earning assets as the main source of economic security, The Capitalist Manifesto by Louis Kelso, for example but the powers in place manage to resist this paradigm shift.

This spot in cyber-space is maintained by an autodidact polymath with no organisational guile and remains ineffective leader but a visionary about social evolution.

*We could arguably put the start of the industrial revolution at 1712 when the first steam engine was used to pump floodwater in a mine.
