Speaker Series: Christoph Gorder, President of Charity Water

Join us for the first of our recurring speaker series series events. Every month, we'll ask a prominent social entrepreneur or philanthropist to come and tell us a little about themselves, how they got started and the successes (and mistakes) they've had.

This month our speaker is Christoph Gorder, President of Charity Water. (http://charitywater.org/) Christoph grew up in the Central African Republic and Nigeria, where getting clean water is still a dream for millions. He’s spent the last 15 years at AmeriCares, bringing medicine, medical supplies and healthcare to people in crisis around the world. Christoph joined charity: water in 2012 to lead their programs, run operations, and help maximize efficiency and impact worldwide

This is an informal event - speakers will talk for 20 minutes or so, and then everyone will stick around for some drinks and conversation.

Cost for this event is $10 in advance, $20 at the door. Included in the price is your first draft beer, well drink or wine. Goodniks in Residence (http://goodnik.org/gir) and Goodnik Nomads (http://goodnik.org/nomad) are free.
