Speaker Series Event; Goodnik in Residence Program Expansion

From: Nate H.
Sent on: Monday, July 1, 2013 12:29 PM

Hey there, fellow goodniks:

You probably got the announcement already, but I wanted to remind you of our second in the notable social entrepreneur speaker series - Kevin Lee. While many know of Kevin from his tremendously successful marketing technology company, what some may not know is that Kevin is also a social entrepreneur who founded We-Care. He's going to give goodnik members a brief history of how he got started, where his passion comes from, and how he used that passion to have a positive impact in the world. This will be held on July 17th at 7pm, location TBD. RSVP for the Speaker Series: Kevin Lee today - seating will be limited.

Next, Goodnik is pleased to announce an expansion of the Goodnik in Residence program - our partners at Grind are opening a new location in lower midtown (LoMiTo?) and they've graciously offered to participate in the residency program. The residency will begin when the new space opens (likely July 15th or thereabouts) and will last until the end of the year, with the possibility of extension. Apply now for the Goodnik in Residence Program at the Grind.

Also, we have re-opened applications to the GiR at the Alley, and will be allowing people in to that program as space becomes available. Apply for the Alley GiR.

Finally, as the Goodnik in Residence program expands we have decided to hire a part-time program manager to manage the residents as well as liaise with existing coworking spaces and bring on new ones. Work will be 5-10 hours per week to start, and may expand to more or even full-time eventually. The ideal candidate would be someone with strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, and some business development background. If interested, please send resume (no cover letter) to [address removed].

Thanks, and let me know if you have any questions or comments.
