GDGsf and DartSF have teamed up to bring Dart Flight School to San Francisco! Join us for a day of dart at Galvanize.it's office in downtown SF!

Speakers
Don Olmstead
Don Olmstead is a Senior Software Engineer at Sony Network Entertainment working on the underlying web platform for Playstation hardware. On the native side he advances the browser, supporting the rendering bits. For the application side he develops the rendering engine, built using WebGL, that provides the backbone for the Playstation Store, and portions of the UX on the PS4. He is interested in how the web can be leveraged by game developers as a target platform.

Seth Ladd
Google Developer Advocate for Dart project. Seth has been one of the leading forces spreading the word about Dart. His previous life included organizing Aloha On Rails and bringing Angry Birds to the web. Huge HTML5 fan.

Dan Schutz
Dan Schultz is the Lead Web Engineer at Mixbook. He has over 9 months experience using Dart and Web Components in a production web application called Montage. Montage was featured at Devoxx 2014 for the Dart 1.0 release.

Ravi Purushotma
Starting at the MIT Education Arcade lab as a learning games developer, Ravi’s initial focus was on foreign language learning games. Over time however, he developed a healthy interest in web-based game development, sustaining him through the days of ActionScript 3. Today, he is settled on Dart & StageXL as his tools of choice for creating online Flash-like experiences.

Join us for a Dart Codelab and write your first dart web app! Participants are expected to bring laptops and write code. Please install the Dart Editor and the JDK, which is easily installed the first time the Dart Editor is launched.
