Contributing to Chromium

Abstract:

Chromium is the open-source project behind Google’s Chrome web browser, and there’s nothing more satisfying than contributing to something you use. Except maybe a freshly opened can of Pringles. But how do you actually contribute to it? We’ll talk about building Chromium locally, making changes, and sending them out for review. If everything goes well, we’ll even live fix a bug!

Bio:

I'm a developer at Google. I work on Chrome (http://www.chromium.org/) and have probably at least once broken the Internet for you. I'm also a co-organizer of the Montreal All-Girl Hack Night (http://mtlallgirlhacknight.ca/), and will likely eat all of your Oreos, if you have any.

En partenariat avec GDG Montréal, nous sommes heureux d'accueillir cette conférence à Google.

Chromium est le projet de code source libre derrière le navigateur Chrome de Google, et il n’y a rien de plus satisfaisant que de contribuer à quelque chose qu’on utilise, sauf peut-être ouvrir une nouvelle boîte de Pringles. Mais dans les faits, comment y contribuez-vous? Nous discuterons de la création locale de Chromium, d’y apporter des modifications et de les envoyer pour examen.Si tout se passe bien, nous pourrions même corriger un bogue en direct!

Je suis développeuse à Google. Je travaille sur Chrome (http://www.chromium.org/) et j’ai sûrement déjà paralysé Internet au moins une fois pour vous. Je participe également à l’organisation de la soirée All-Girl Hack Night (http://mtlallgirlhacknight.ca/) qui se tiendra à Montréal, et je risque de subtiliser tous vos Oreos si vous osez en apporter.
