The Russian Dinner at the Dacha is coming this Saturday.
That is a good opportunity to taste some home-cooked Russian cuisine as well as to experiment and cook your favorite Russian recipe. Here is a preliminary dinner menu that we have so far: 1. Zakuska (appetizers) : Red caviar on the Russian black bread Kolbaski (Russian style) and more 2. Summer Borsch ? Cold Soup 3. Shuba ? beet/potato salad with herring 4. Satsivi ? chicken in the spicy nut sauce, Georgian style (very well adapted by Russian) 5. Pirozhki with meet 6. Cabagge Pie 7. Khachapuri ?again Georgian Style cheese pie adapted by Russian 8. Eggplant Caviar 9. Russian dessert wines to taste
Please let us know before 8pm today if you are coming and if you are bringing any dish or prefer to bring some wine or beer
Welcome, foodies! You need not have an educated palate to join us, but you should enjoy experiencing and talking about good food and wine as well as merely consuming it. We'll be tasting wines, chocolates, fine cheeses and other gourmet delicacies, discovering new restaurants, and sharing our favorites with each other. New members are always welcome.
