Android Experience - Intro To Chuck Norris

We are attempting a new format for the Android Experience this month, and depending on how it works out, we will hopefully continue with it forward. We are planning to collectively work on one application together called the Chuck Norris Joke Application.

There is an open REST API available for us to use that will facilitate many of the concepts that are important on the Android platform. This month we will discuss the following:

• How to use Git/Github
• Introduction to the Chuck Norris API
• Project plan/workflow/teams
• Story board the application, including the UI

We hope that by actually working on a real project and getting your hands dirty, we give you a better learning experience.

This is going to be a hacking session. There will not be individual tracks, but if there is time left over, we may be able to spend time actually getting into the code and working on some of the issues / concepts.
