Using Graph Databases in Business Intelligence

Details

The Business Intelligence (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Business_intelligence) world has been providing insight into many different data sources for years. However, most of the data sources have traditionally been based on relational databases. Recently, the NOSQL movement has also exposed other data sources, like our beloved Graph Databases, which now need to be integrated into the Business Intelligence toolset.

In this meetup, Ralf Becher (https://twitter.com/irregularbi) will explain how graph databases like Neo4j (http://www.neo4j.com/) can be an excellent complement to the BI toolset, where and how it could be used, and demonstrate some specific integrations with BI tools like QlikView (http://www.qlik.com/us/explore/products/qlikview)/QlikSense (http://www.qlik.com/us/explore/products/sense) and Tableau (http://www.tableausoftware.com/). After that, we will of course have plenty of opportunity to discuss and exchange ideas on this topic.
