Enterprise and Startup GraphDB Case Studies
Details
During the next meetup, we will be sharing and discussing 3 case studies of graph database implementations. This is a brief summary:
• The first case will be from ING Bank. ING has developed a really interesting monitoring and service management application that manages their micro-service architecture using different tools, among which ElasticSearch, Redis and Neo4j. Our speaker, Stephane Rouault is one of the lead developers of this application.
• The second case was actually introduced to us last year. Maurits van der Goes (who presented at our meetup in the past) has been hard at work developing a recommendation engine for Part-up.com - and will be sharing his experience. He has done some very cool stuff integrating Neo4j with MongoDB, as one of the interesting points of his presentation.
• A third case will be presented by Jasper van Veghel, of Work Around Me. Work Around Me identifies where you work and provides you with a hyperlocal social network and services that come to you. Built on top of Neo4j, its back-end comprises a RESTful API built with Node Harmony and Seraph.
If you would have any other cases to present, then please reach out - but I am already sure that this will be a lovely evening anyway!
Cheers
Rik
