Who
Grand Rapids drummers and their friends / family. Everyone is welcome to come, you don't have to be a great drummer, or have your own drum. Bring a pot, bucket, whatever you can find, it will probably sound pretty cool in the mix.

What
Drumming. Bang a drum, shake an egg, tap a tambourine, or tap your foot. We drum, and we drum together. We've been playing around with a few different methods:


* Freestyle - everyone plays what they want but respects the group beat
* Build-a-Beat - one person starts with a simple beat, then every 4-8 measures 1 other person joins
* Spotlight - everyone plays the same simple beat, then, one at a time, take turns freestyling
* ***Suggestions are always welcome
