Kalos irthate! Welcome to the San Francisco Bay Area Greek Meetup Group! Whether you are interested in practicing speaking Greek, experiencing Greek culture, or supporting the local Greek community, you will find this meetup to be a great opportunity to meet like-minded people.
Members have varying levels of Greek proficiency, from native Greek speakers to absolute beginners.
Our events include dinners at local Greek restaurants, happy hours, conversational Greek coffee hours, and cultural events. In Greek culture it is very common to meet up regularly over food, drinks, etc. There is a common phrase in Greek “Pame gia kafe!” which means “Let’s meet for coffee!”
