The purpose of this group is for parents who live in the DC Metro area to meet, mostly on weekends, and play German-style board games. We can also work out communal babysitting opportunities so that players can have some quality adult time. From Wikipedia: "German-style board games are a broad class of tabletop games that generally have simple rules, short to medium playing times, indirect player interaction and attractive physical components. The games emphasize strategy, play down luck and conflict, lean towards economic rather than military themes, and usually keep all the players in the game until it ends."
