How does it work?

The Guildford Book Group meets once a month to discuss books and socialise in Guildford Surrey. The books are chosen by a vote, from nominations by the members. Come along, share your favourite book, or simply the one you're currently reading with other people. The meetings are on a Tuesday and Wednesday evening at the end of each month. We’ve been meeting since 2003

Where do we meet?

We always meet in a public venue rather than members' homes as some book groups do. This is always a pub or bar in Guildford town centre.

Who are the members?

The group is mainly people in their 20’s and 30’s, with a good mix between men and women, living in and around Guildford. Usually it's a lively discussion though we're not literary connoisseurs! We like a good laugh and we’re a pretty easy going bunch.
